Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Grace Guard Remote Tech Services. By accessing our website, creating an account, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Grace Guard Remote Tech Services.

Description of Services

Grace Guard provides remote technical support services to help customers resolve computer, device, and technology-related issues. Our services include remote troubleshooting and problem resolution, software installation and configuration assistance, virus and malware removal, device setup and optimization, email and account recovery, and general technology education and guidance.

We offer three subscription tiers (Essential Care, Priority Care, and Total Care) with varying levels of service, response times, and features. Specific service details and limitations are described on our pricing page and in your subscription agreement.

Account Registration and Security

To use our services, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and enter into this agreement. If you are using our services on behalf of another person (such as a parent or relative), you represent that you have authority to do so and to bind that person to these terms.

Subscription and Payment Terms

Our services are provided on a subscription basis with monthly recurring billing. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel your subscription. All fees are in U.S. dollars and are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.

We reserve the right to change our pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle but will apply to subsequent renewals. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to services until that time. No partial refunds will be provided for unused time in your billing period.

Remote Access and Permissions

To provide technical support, our technicians may need to remotely access your computer or device. You explicitly grant us permission to access your device only for the purpose of resolving your technical issues. We will always request your permission before initiating a remote session and will explain what we need to do.

During remote sessions, you should close or minimize any windows containing sensitive personal information (such as financial accounts or private documents) that are not related to the issue being resolved. While we respect your privacy and will not intentionally access unrelated files, you are responsible for protecting your own sensitive information.

You may terminate a remote session at any time. We will never access your device without your knowledge or outside of a scheduled support session.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You will not use our services to engage in any illegal activities, transmit viruses or malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, harass or abuse our support staff, or use our services to support illegal file sharing or copyright infringement.

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel subscriptions for violations of this acceptable use policy or for any conduct we deem harmful to our business, other customers, or our staff.

Service Limitations and Disclaimers

While we strive to resolve all technical issues, we cannot guarantee that every problem can be fixed. Some issues may be beyond the scope of remote support, may require hardware replacement, or may be caused by factors outside our control. We will always be honest about what we can and cannot do.

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party software, hardware failures, internet connectivity problems, or factors beyond our reasonable control.

We strongly recommend that you maintain regular backups of your important data. While we take precautions to protect your data during support sessions, we are not responsible for data loss that may occur during troubleshooting or repair processes.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grace Guard Remote Tech Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use or inability to use our services.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Grace Guard Remote Tech Services, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of our services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our website and services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and documentation, are the exclusive property of Grace Guard Remote Tech Services and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our content without our express written permission.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern or dispute with our services, please contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally. We are committed to working with you to find a fair resolution.

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which our business is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in that jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should cancel your subscription.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to our services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms, is harmful to other users, or is harmful to our business interests. Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease, and we may delete your account and data in accordance with our data retention policies.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
